LIBRARY BOOKS!
This is a list of library books out from 6-2! It's an updated account of outstanding library materials...
You on the list? Here's what happens now:
Mrs. Stewart, "I am not expecting to get all of these back before the end of this school year. But somehow wanted to update and inform the students about what they currently had signed out, so that they know what they are responsible for bringing back next Fall".
YOU MAY CHOOSE TO RETURN THE BOOKS TO A BIN THAT IS PLACED OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL before the end of the year
OR you may return them at the beginning of next year.
**The choice is yours, but please be aware that you are responsible for the book until
it is safely returned to the school and in good condition.

Creative Writing Prompt.
Monday, April 20th.
Sometimes it can be difficult to start writing. 6-2, your task is to email me (using your school email) a number between 1 and 300 (if you are joining our class meeting today on Teams you can tell me your chosen number then). Yes, I said 1-300. Once I have your chosen number, I will connect with you and let you know which writing prompt you will be using from a list. It will be your special writing prompt because what are the chances you pick the same number as someone else! With your prompt, I am asking you to be AS CREATIVE AS POSSIBLE. Read the prompt, brainstorm ways that you can express your thoughts. You do not need to respond in a typical paragraph form. First you would want to brainstorm different possible ideas to include in your writing. Then begin, however you want. THE RULES: -You must complete the prompt provided -It must cover at least three quarters of a page Edit and revise your prompt. Share it with a family member. Finally, you will be sharing your prompt with your classmates (hopefully over Teams). For example, if your prompt asks "If the world could only 4 foods of your choosing, what would you make the world eat?" I might begin to think of my favourite foods. I may immediately think of chicken wings. But, I may then consider that chicken wings are not providing the best nutrients, so I may consider revising my choice to something else. OR I may want the world to eat chicken wings because I love them! Going with the prompt above, I may even decide to create a menu outlining the four foods along with pictures. |
